Sam Bastia is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy and corporate development. Currently serving as Vice President/Executive Director of Strategy at Verizon since 2009, Sam oversees a global strategy and planning group, contributing to over $130 billion in revenue. In addition to this role, Sam is actively involved on the Board of Directors for MassChallenge and Duke University's Healthcare Innovation initiative, as well as serving as a Charter Member for TiE and a Board Member for Point Judith Capital and Davio's Restaurant Group. Previous experiences include a leadership position at Sun Microsystems and co-founding Breakaway Solutions. Sam holds advanced education from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
