Chris Mason

Chris Mason is a seasoned sports journalist with a focus on football and baseball. Since October 2019, Chris has served as the Patriots beat writer for MassLive.com, providing in-depth coverage of the team. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Red Sox beat writer for CNHI from March 2017 to October 2019, contributing daily content to the Eagle-Tribune and Salem News. Chris gained foundational experience at the Boston Herald from April 2014 to March 2017 as an editorial assistant in sports, specializing in professional football and hockey. Earlier career highlights include positions as a writer/assistant producer at CBS Radio in 2013-2014 and a writing center tutor at Merrimack College, where Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. Chris's diverse experiences also include working as a bartender at Rolf's Pub during college, showcasing both writing and interpersonal skills.
