Carrie Smith

Carrie Smith is an experienced underwriting consultant with a professional background spanning over two decades in the insurance industry. Currently employed at MassMutual as an Underwriter Consultant since August 2022, Carrie previously held the position of Senior Life Underwriting Consultant at AIG from November 1999 to August 2022, where responsibilities included the full underwriting of complex life insurance cases with an authority limit of $5,000,000. Prior to that, Carrie served as Agency Office Manager at COUNTRY ® Financial from October 1994 to October 1999, managing a local insurance agency and obtaining multiple state insurance licenses. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership with Cum Laude honors from Greenville University.
