Cynthia Ryan

Cynthia Ryan is a seasoned human resources executive currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at MassMutual since January 2024. Previously, Ryan held the position of EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer at The Cigna Group from August 2021 to October 2023, following a distinguished 22-year career at Cigna Healthcare where Ryan advanced through various leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for US Businesses, Senior Vice President for US Government and Commercial Businesses, and Vice President of Talent Management, among others. Ryan's extensive experience encompasses driving talent management strategies, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness in organizations generating substantial annual revenues. Ryan holds a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from SUNY Geneseo.
