Dan Garant

Dan Garant is an experienced Lead Data Scientist currently at MassMutual, where responsibilities include developing risk assessment models for life insurance underwriting and collaborating with various experts to enhance the underwriting process. Prior to this, Dan led data science initiatives at C&S Wholesale Grocers, focusing on machine learning applications in supply chain technologies and demand forecasting. With a strong academic background, including an MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Keene State College, Dan has also held research and development roles in academia and various technology firms, contributing to significant projects in causal effect estimation and optimization techniques.
