Ian Mitnick

Ian Mitnick, MBA, possesses a diverse background in business innovation and political engagement. As an IALS Business Innovation Fellow at the UMass Institute for Applied Life Sciences, Ian contributed to business initiatives from September 2018 until December 2019. Previous experience includes serving as a Legislative Intern for Stephen M. Farry at the Northern Ireland Parliament, where Ian focused on policy research and initiatives. As the Assistant to the Director of Tours and Education at the Office of Secretary of the Commonwealth, Ian received an Honorary Citation for contributions to educational tours. A variety of roles at MassMutual, including TSA Technology Manager and IT Portfolio Consultant, highlighted Ian's expertise in project governance and technology management. Ian's early career involved significant roles at Sea Mar Community Health Centers and the Boston Bar Association, where administrative and management skills were developed. Ian holds a Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts with dual majors from Northeastern University.
