Matthew Whitbread, CFA, CAIA, FRM, has extensive experience in investment management and portfolio strategy. Beginning a career at Investors Bank & Trust as a Mutual Fund Custody Accountant, Matthew transitioned to roles including Equity Research Associate at MFS Investment Management and Senior Portfolio Analyst at Pyramis Global Advisors. Subsequently, Matthew served as a Portfolio Manager at Barings, leading global tactical asset allocation strategies, and then as a Portfolio Manager at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where initiation of alternative investments was a key focus. Currently, Matthew holds the positions of Head of Customized Portfolios and Lead Investment Strategist at MassMutual. Matthew earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Boston College and a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Boston College's Woods College of Advancing Studies.
