Michael Friedman

Michael Friedman, CFA, currently serves as Investment Director for Global Equities and ESG at MassMutual, a position held since December 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing manager selection for $2.3 billion across eight strategies in global markets. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Equity Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager at Delaware Investments, where contributions focused on Consumer, Industrials, and Financials while managing the Global Value Fund. Michael’s earlier career involved being a Senior Analyst at The Boston Company, specializing in Consumer stocks and consistently outperforming market indices since 2004, along with a tenure as an Analyst at Riversource, recognized for excellence in sector analysis. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
