Michael Roche

Michael Roche is the Head of Core Data Platform at MassMutual, where they lead the vision, architecture, and execution of the Enterprise Data Platform, enabling over 2,100 production projects. With more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, Michael has previously worked as an architect and team lead at IBM, where they drove innovation in database technologies, and led significant projects at IONA Technologies and Liberty Mutual Insurance. They hold an M.Sc. in Management of Information Systems from Trinity College, Dublin, and a B.Sc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University. A patented inventor and frequent speaker at industry conferences, Michael blends strategic leadership with hands-on prototyping to foster high-performing engineering teams.
