Zack Barrier

Zack Barrier is a cybersecurity professional with a solid educational background and diverse experience in various roles. At the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Zack served as a Cybersecurity Researcher in the CyPhER Lab, focusing on securing physical and virtual networks and automating network analysis processes. As a Cyber Security Intern at MassMutual, Zack worked on cloud security, improving metrics and response times, and developed scripts for onboarding network logs as a General Risk Consultant in Security Platforms. Additional experience includes developing a custom WebSocket client for real-time data streaming and configuring Nxlog and Kafka for efficient log management. Zack Barrier is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cyber Security at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complementing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an Associate's degree from Guilford Technical Community College.
