Michael Muffly has a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management, with over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles. Michael started their career as a Project Safety Manager at Graycor Industrial Constructors in 1995. Michael then joined ICF Kaiser Engineers in 1997, where they directed all aspects of safety and supervised over 160K man-hours. In 1998, they became a Project Safety Manager at Watkins Engineers, overseeing safety activities for a significant piping project, achieving OSHA VPP Star status and zero recordable injuries. In 2003, Michael joined CH2MHILL as the Oil, Gas & Chemicals Sector HSE Director, providing support to 9 area managers and over 75 safety professionals. Michael'sresponsibilities included ensuring safety in challenging conditions and overseeing HSE activities across the lower 48 states and Alaska. In 2016, they joined Wanzek Construction, Inc. as the VP of Environment Health & Safety, where they led a team of professionals in implementing a safety program that prioritized planning, standards adherence, and continuous improvement. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Environment Health & Safety at MasTec, where they continue their commitment to proactive safety management.

Michael Muffly obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Safety/Environmental Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued their education further and earned a Master's Degree in Occupational Safety Management from Columbia Southern University, studying from 2011 to 2015.
