Doug Beedy is an experienced brewery consultant and owner of The Beer Builder since August 2000, specializing in opening new breweries and addressing operational challenges in existing ones. Currently serving as a BOG Rep for the Midwest District with Master Brewers and previously holding the position of Technical Services Manager at Lotus Beverage Alliance, Doug has a strong background in brewery layout and project management. With roles including US Sales Rep at Saturn Packaging Equipment and Outside Sales Representative for Altitude Automation, Doug has handled worldwide sales and technical support related to brewing equipment. Past experience also includes leadership positions at various breweries, such as Director of Operations at Elevator Brewing Co., Owner/GM/Brewmaster at Tilted Axis, and Brewmaster/GM at Fort Street Brewery. Doug's educational background includes a BA in Advertising and PR from Michigan State University and training at the Siebel Institute of Technology.
