James Ha

James Ha has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications. James began their career in 2004 as an Account Executive at DDB. In 2005, they moved to TAXI where they held the roles of Account Director and Senior Account Manager. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance Director of Business Development for both StrawberryFrog and Beattie McGuinness Bungay NYC. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Director of Marketing, E-Commerce & Social Media and Senior Global Marketing Manager at Club Monaco. From 2013 to 2015, they were the VP of Marketing & Communications at Perry Ellis International, where they oversaw the global brand, marketing, public relations & social media efforts and grew the business by +25% YOY. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Head of Partnerships & Men's Marketing (An Amazon Company) at Shopbop | East Dane and the VP of Marketing & Communications at Ernest Alexander, where they oversaw the entire brand, marketing, public relations, social media & e-commerce efforts. Most recently, they were Co-President and VP of Marketing & Communications at Master & Dynamic.

James Ha obtained a Highschool Diploma from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in 1995-2000. James then attended McGill University from 2000-2002 and obtained a B.Sc. Arch Candidate in the School of Architecture. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Honors Business Administration - Marketing from Ivey Business School at Western University from 2002-2004.
