Alec Shaw is a seasoned professional in the blockchain and decentralized finance sectors. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at MV Global since January 2025, Alec has previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Tenderize, a decentralized liquid staking protocol, from May 2023 to November 2024. As an Advisor for the Blockchain Education Network from September 2020 to October 2024, Alec contributed insights to the blockchain education space. Prior experience includes being the Growth Lead at Sperax, a decentralized stablecoin project, from January 2021 to May 2023, and co-founding the Marquette University Blockchain Lab, where involvement extended from April 2018 to January 2021. Alec's leadership experience also includes managing Blue and Gold Ventures, an experiential learning program, and co-founding Euphrates, focused on educational workshops for enterprise clients. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from Marquette University, completed in 2018.
