Charles Taira

Charles Taira has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Charles worked as a Software Engineer at SPAWAR from April 2010 to April 2012. Following that, they were an Android Software Developer for an independent project from September 2011 to March 2012. In 2012, they joined Intuit as a Software Engineer for the Identity & Access Management team until October 2013. Charles then took on the role of Product Manager for QuickBooks Payments at Intuit until November 2015. From November 2015 to June 2018, Charles worked at Prezi as a Product Manager, focusing on growth and monetization. Currently, they are at MasterClass, where they started as a Senior Product Manager for Growth in June 2018. Charles then became the Principal Product Manager for Growth from May 2020 to April 2022, where they led various initiatives such as conversion rate optimization, gifting, promotional offers, incentivized referrals, SEO, free trial, onboarding, internationalization, advertising pixel optimization, and renewals. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Management, Growth at MasterClass from April 2022.

Charles Taira completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego. In 2017, they participated in the Growth Series at Reforge. The following year, they pursued the Retention + Engagement Series at Reforge. In 2018 to 2019, Charles engaged in the Advanced Growth Strategy at Reforge. Their latest educational endeavor occurred in 2022 when they completed the Product Leadership program at Reforge.
