Jessie Krebs has a diverse range of work experience in the field of wilderness survival and outdoor education. They are currently the owner and head instructor at O.W.L.S. Skills, where they aim to educate and empower women and other underrepresented demographics in the skills of surviving emergency situations in global wilderness environments. They also teach survival skills to all demographics in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Prior to this, Jessie worked as a MasterClass instructor in 2021, creating a class on basic survival skills. They have also served as a head instructor at SERE Training School, where they taught global survival knowledge and skills to individuals from all walks of life.

In previous roles, Jessie worked as a senior field instructor at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, where they helped young adults and teens identify and address various issues in their lives. They also served as a chief field instructor at Wilderness Quest, focusing on keeping clients physically and emotionally safe in remote areas of the desert.

In their early career, Jessie worked as a S.E.R.E. specialist in the United States Air Force, teaching survival and evasion techniques to military members going into combat.

Throughout their work experience, Jessie has consistently focused on teaching survival skills, emphasizing personal protection, sustenance, health, travel techniques, and signaling techniques for surviving in emergency situations.

Jessie Krebs began their education in 1990 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they studied biology, psychology, and survival principles until 1994. From 1995 to 2000, Jessie attended the University of Maryland Overseas Division, earning an associate's degree without specifying a field of study. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in educational psychology at Stockton University, completing their degree between 2000 and 2002. In addition to their formal education, Jessie Krebs obtained certification in Wilderness First Responder and CPR from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
