Michele Sleighel

Michele Sleighel is an experienced professional in research and editing, currently serving as a Research Editor and previously as an Associate Editor at MasterClass since November 2020. Prior roles include Editor at Core Digital Media, Research Editor at Playboy Enterprises, Inc., and Fact-Checker at Ms. Magazine, among others. Sleighel has also contributed as a Research Associate at the Feminist Majority Foundation and held various positions at The University of Texas at San Antonio, including Research Assistant. Earlier career experiences include serving as Club Director and Education Director at the Boys & Girls Club of the Austin Area and a Marketing Intern at the American Red Cross of Central Texas. Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Communication from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
