Russ Jorgensen

Russ Jorgensen began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Bell Labs (AT&T/Lucent Technologies) in 1923. Russ was responsible for developing wireless and telecom products and provided technical leadership.

In 1923, Russ became an Engineering Manager at Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies/ALU/LGS Innovations), leading teams of up to 20 engineers and completing R&D projects within budget and on schedule. Russ also interfaced with customers and supported career growth.

From 2010 to 2023, Russ worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer, playing a core role in creating Google Drive. Russ'sresponsibilities included software development, project management, technical leadership, mentoring, and conducting interviews.

Currently, Russ is a Principal Software Engineer at MasterControl, starting in 2023.

Russ Jorgensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution. Russ also attended Auburn High School in Auburn, NE.
