Ryan Castro

Ryan Castro has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ryan currently holds the role of Director of Software Engineering at MasterControl, a position they have been in since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Enterprise Triage & Software Development, Software Engineering Manager - CI/CD & Tools, and Software Quality Manager - Software Engineer in Test at the same company. In these roles, Ryan demonstrated strong leadership skills and collaborated with various departments to solve critical customer issues and improve software delivery processes. Before joining MasterControl, Ryan worked as an SQA Development Lead and SQA Automation Engineer II, where they gained experience in automated regression and validation testing. Additionally, they have a background in technical support and management from their time as a General Manager at Totally Awesome Computers and as a Team Coordinator at Communications & Commerce. Ryan Castro has studied Business Administration and Management, General at BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Ryan also holds additional certifications as a Certified SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, obtained in May 2019, and as an ISTQB Certified Software Tester from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, obtained in 2007.
