James Ormond

James Ormond possesses extensive experience in the boating and manufacturing industries, currently serving as the Director of Training at MasterCraft Boat Company since August 2012. Over the years, James has held various key positions within the same company, including Quality Manager, Assembly Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and Manufacturing Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor. Prior to MasterCraft, James worked as Production Manager at Malibu Boats and held multiple roles, such as Production Supervisor, Quality Manager, and Supplier Quality Manager at Sea Ray Boats. James began a career in quality control at Hoshizaki America and gained early experience as a Quality Assurance Co-op Engineer at Rheem Manufacturing. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, earned from 1990 to 1996.
