Mathew Babey

Mathew Babey, P.Eng. is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in design, engineering management, and quality assurance within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Design/Drafting Lead at Master Flo Valve Inc., Mathew focuses on the design of choke valves for various applications. Previously, as the Manager of Engineering at Great North Wellhead & Frac, Mathew oversaw engineering operations and led a team with a budget of $350,000, while also establishing an engineering practice that achieved significant industry certifications. Other roles include mechanical engineering positions at UnityRig Equipment International Group and Corrpro Canada, where Mathew specialized in equipment analysis and asset integrity management. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
