Founded in 1989, Masterair Services was forged with a core objective to offer air handling maintenance services to purchasers of plant assets manufactured by Masterair Sales Ltd, a sister entity which ceased production in 2006. In the years succeeding conception, a capacity to deliver an expanded array of maintenance offerings was attained. A successful MBO led by senior management was completed in 2015, which was succeeded with a sustained trajectory of scaling growth to date, which is illustrated by a growth in staff numbers from 22 in 2015, to more than 150 in 2024. Subsequently, an expert team of technicians was assembled, combined with an internal apprentice training programme, that aims to furnish technicians with a broad spectrum of technical abilities and multi-disciplinary competency. The expertise acquired within this field provided the basis to originally form Mastertech Engineering. An opportunity to accompany the existing range of HVAC/MEP technical maintenance services was the addition of electrical systems competency embraced in 2017, by the addition of a senior electrical team & field staff with extensive commercial electrical experience. This synergy forms the now established Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Projects Division. As part of our commitment plan for sustainability, in 2023 the Mastertech Sustainable Solutions division was formed to provide clients with options relating to their own ESG goals. The business re-branded entirely to Mastertech in 2020 to dispel the historical limitations posed by an association with solely air conditioning abilities.
