Michael Travers is an experienced educator with a strong background in middle school mathematics and instructional leadership. Currently serving as a Middle School Math Teacher and Teacher Mentor at Mastery Charter Schools since September 2011, Michael has developed individualized lesson plans and hands-on activities to enhance student achievement. In addition to teaching, Michael has taken on roles such as 6th Grade Teacher Leader, where responsibilities include modeling effective instructional strategies and supporting fellow educators. Previous experience includes teaching 5th grade and leading after-school programs at Universal Daroff Charter School. Michael holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rowan University.
