Irwin Abuthan

Irwin Abuthan has extensive experience in the retail and banking sectors, currently serving as Director of Real Estate & Store Planning at PT Matahari Department Store Tbk since October 2010. Prior to this role, Irwin held the position of Director of Planning & Development at PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk from February 2002 to September 2010. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President at the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency from June 1999 to January 2002, where responsibilities were centered on asset management in the investment division. Irwin also worked as a Manager in Corporate Finance and Corporate Banking at American Express Bank Ltd from 1997 to 1999 and as an Officer in Corporate Finance at Bank Credit Lyonnais Indonesia from February 1995 to June 1997. Irwin earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Curtin University between 1992 and 1995 and completed secondary education at SMA 68 Salemba in Jakarta from 1988 to 1990.
