Jo Bennett

Jo Bennett is a seasoned professional in the retail industry, currently serving as the Buying and Design Director at Matalan since 2025. They co-founded Cape Cove and have held various influential roles, including Head of Category for Womens at John Lewis & Partners from 2018 to 2022 and Brand Consultant at Sainsbury's from 2022 to 2023. Jo began their career as an Assistant Buyer at Arcadia Group Ltd from 2003 to 2005 and later worked as a Buyer and Senior Buyer at Jacques Vert until 2009. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Retail Management from the University of Surrey in 2001.
