MATAX builds the operational infrastructure that lets tech startup founders focus on what they actually started the company to do.

We design, build, and optimize the accounting systems, automations, and AI-powered workflows that keep a growing startup running without requiring its founder to touch every moving part. We connect your tools so your data flows cleanly, your close is fast, and your numbers are trustworthy when it matters most.

We have worked with hundreds of founders across the SF Bay Area and beyond, from pre-revenue to Series C and beyond. That experience has taught us what breaks at every stage of growth, what fixes actually hold, and how to build systems your team can own and maintain long after we have done our job.

What makes MATAX different is how we think about the work. We do not position ourselves as your outsourced back office. We position ourselves as the team that designs and builds the CoreOps, the operational layer your startup needs to scale. We are architects and accounting experts, not processors. And we train your team to run what we build.

We are a two-time Xero Partner of the Year award winner and Advisory Innovator of the Year recipient. Those recognitions reflect something we hear from clients consistently: the work holds up.

Our work spans accounting infrastructure, no-code automation, AI agent implementation, and operational strategy. If your startup is growing and your operations are not keeping up, that is exactly the problem we are built to solve.

Reach out if you want to talk through where your systems stand.
