Shefali S. serves as the Director of Security Assurance and Director of Enterprise Security & GRC at Tinder, overseeing the corporate information security organization and leading various initiatives in enterprise security and governance, risk, and compliance. With extensive experience at Tinder, Shefali has transformed the GRC team and successfully implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS), achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 27017 certification, making Tinder the first dating app to gain these certifications. Previously held positions include Senior InfoSec Risk Specialist at Walmart Global Tech, IT Audit Consultant at Bough Consulting, and Storage Engineer at Dell EMC. Shefali holds a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
