James Hill

James Hill is an experienced educator and equity champion dedicated to enhancing learning outcomes for all scholars. They currently serve as the Founding Principal/Superintendent at Matchbook Learning, where they launched "The Match High School" to support inner-city youth through individualized learning plans and community partnerships. Previously, James held various roles, including Principal at Osseo Area Learning Center, where they supported at-risk students, and Assistant Principal at Mankato Public Schools, where they focused on fostering student success. With a teaching background from Saint Paul Public Schools as a Social Studies Teacher and Coach, James has consistently worked to empower students throughout their career.
