Darryl Ball

Darryl Ball has a strong background in network engineering and VoIP systems. Darryl worked at Collabera starting in 2022 as a Sr. VoIP/Network Engineer, where they specialized in global networks, Cisco voice networks, and IT certifications. Additionally, they resolved customer service issues for various networks and also served as a project management lead implementing ITIL processes and procedures.

Prior to their role at Collabera, Darryl worked at Insight Global as a Sr. Cisco VoIP Voice Network Engineer. During this time, they installed, troubleshooted, repaired, and maintained Cisco VoIP systems, including CUCM Upgrades/Migrations and PBXs. Darryl also worked remotely on UCCX/UCCE and Finesse, and handled L3 tickets in Service Now.

Before their role at Insight Global, Darryl worked as a Sr. VoIP Engineer at the same company, starting in 2021 and ending in 2022. Darryl also worked at VDart as a Sr. Onshore Lead Engineer from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on SDWAN, PBXs, and Avaya systems.

Darryl's work experience also includes a role as a Sr. Network Engineer at Randstad Technologies US. During their time there in 2010, they worked on firewalls, Cisco ASA, routing protocols, and WAN acceleration. Darryl also gained experience with Cisco Call Manager and various Cisco switches, telepresence systems, and routers.

Darryl Ball obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics Engineering from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in the years 1980 to 1984. After that, they pursued further education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution from 2001 to 2005. In 2010 to 2012, Darryl attended Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager. Additionally, Darryl has obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft, namely, MCP, MCSA, and MCSE.
