Nelson Yip

Nelson Yip, CPA, currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Matcon since May 2016. Prior experience includes a master’s student role at the University of Hertfordshire, and an administrative assistant position at Non-stop Design Limited. Previous positions also encompass auditor at C.M. So & Co., where financial statements were audited and medium-sized companies received strategic consulting, and director at H&L Education Centre, overseeing educational programs for high school students. Nelson began a career in finance as a financial consultant at AXA, focusing on client services related to financial products. Yip holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire and a CPA designation from CPA Canada, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Hong Kong Baptist University.
