Anthony Kwan

Dr. Anthony Kwan is a consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon based in Brisbane, specializing in diseases of the retina and macula. Medical expertise extends to practices in Gold Coast and Northern NSW, where they address conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. With a career that began with fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Lions Eye Institute, they have held significant roles including Director of Ophthalmology at Mater Health Services and are currently an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. Active in public health, Dr. Kwan dedicates time to managing patients at Mater Hospital while contributing to the field as a member of the Vision Academy and a guest lecturer at various institutions.
