Ben Sheppard

Ben Sheppard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership, coaching, and pastoral care. As a current member of the Board of Directors for Spiritual Care Australia and a committee member for the Religious Advisory Committee to the Services in Defence Australia, Ben represents the Buddhist community and advises on religious issues within the Australian Defence Force. Holding multiple roles at Mater, including Senior Mission Integration Manager and Senior Pastoral Care Manager, Ben has contributed significantly to mission integration and pastoral care practices. Ben's volunteer efforts include leadership positions at the Queensland Sangha Association. With a strong educational background, including an MBA from Griffith University and numerous specialized certifications in coaching, counselling, and neuroscience, Ben demonstrates a commitment to organizational development and wellbeing.
