Chris Pyke

Chris Pyke currently serves as the Chair of Clinical Standards and Excellence for BreastScreen Queensland and is the President of the Australia and New Zealand Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. With extensive experience at Queensland Health and Karuna Hospice Services Ltd, Chris also holds multiple leadership positions within the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, including Chair of the Section History, Heritage and Archives, and Councillor. A Professor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, Chris has a longstanding role as a General Surgeon at Mater Health Services. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Surgery from The University of Queensland and various leadership qualifications from the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
