Simon Kitchen

Simon Kitchen is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in digital infrastructure and security. As the Founder of SDL Technology since January 2009, Simon has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills and leadership. In addition, a role as a Senior Digital Infrastructure Specialist at Mater began in January 2022, building on prior experience at Sonic Healthcare as Facilities Coordinator and Firewall Specialist from December 2014 to December 2021. Simon served as a Security Administrator for the Queensland Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry from January 2011 to December 2014, focusing on IT security. Early career experience includes a Sales Assistant position at Target Australia Pty Ltd from July 2007 to December 2012. Simon holds a degree in Information Technology, Network Systems from Queensland University of Technology, completed between 2009 and 2012.
