Ben Galphin is the Founder and CEO of Outsider Innovation, a consulting firm specializing in material supply chain and strategy since 2019. Previously, Ben held various roles at Patagonia from 2006 to 2014, including Manager of Materials R&D and Materials Developer, where they focused on sustainable materials and quality assurance. Ben also worked at Matereal in multiple capacities, contributing to product strategy and customer success from 2023 to 2024. They earned a BS in Textile Engineering and a minor in Outdoor Leadership from North Carolina State University.
