Othmane Bouchenafa

Othmane Bouchenafa is a highly skilled professional in the field of concrete and materials engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Process Development Scientist at Material Evolution since March 2025, Bouchenafa previously held the position of Concrete Chemist at Concrete4Change, where responsibilities included managing a concrete laboratory and conducting experiments to evaluate material performance. With a strong academic background, Bouchenafa served as a Lecturer and Researcher at the Concrete Engineering Chair at ESTP Paris from October 2019 to August 2023, focusing on projects related to carbon neutrality of cements and valorisation of inert waste. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution, emphasis was placed on optimizing the mechanosynthesis process for producing cements. Bouchenafa holds a Research Doctorate in Materials Science from Université Paris-Est and has completed multiple Master's degrees in Environmental Engineering and Materials Science.
