Fan Coty has extensive experience in the footwear industry. In 2019, they were the Director of Sales in Asia for Material Exchange, where they were responsible for sales and optimizing the supplier chain. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Founder of Smart Trader Ltd. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Material Sourcing Manager for NOVI Footwear. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Senior Material Sourcing for Payless ShoeSource, where they were responsible for consolidating main materials by vendors and material research. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Material Sourcing and Developer for ICB Asia Shoes Trading Company, where they were responsible for material sourcing for global lead planning and purchasing. Finally, from 2005 to 2008, they were the Senior Shoe Developer for Pou Chen Group.

Fan Coty obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from Xi'an International Studies University between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting English from Xi'an Translation and Interpreting University between 2000 and 2004.
