Marielle Smith

Marielle Smith serves as the Head of People Operations at Material Security since September 2023 and is a Board Member at Bonafide. With extensive experience in human resources and people operations, Marielle previously held the position of VP of People at Narvar, where notable achievements included leading a team of over 20 to support a rapidly growing employee base, enhancing organizational culture, and implementing remote work support programs. Marielle's career also features leadership roles at TapClicks, Science Exchange, Inflection, and Apigee, with a focus on recruiting and organizational development. Marielle holds a PhD in Germanic Languages and Literatures from Harvard University and a BA in German from UC Irvine.
