Joseph Hengoed is currently an Associate Director at IPS, having previously held various roles in educational and survey engineering. They worked as an Instructional Coach at the Educational Development Center from 2019 to 2021, where they developed staff professional development and implemented psychological tests to improve school functioning. Prior to that, Joseph served as a Senior Associate Survey Engineer at Material from 2022 to 2024, overseeing market research projects and creating professional development topics. Joseph began their career as an Intervention Specialist with Teach For America, where they significantly contributed to student graduation rates. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Hiram College and a Master's degree in Psychology from Tiffin University.
