Marissa Holl

Marissa Holl is an experienced professional in research and insights, currently serving as the Associate Director - Research & Insights Strategist at Material since February 2020, after progressing through roles as Senior Associate and Associate. Prior to this, Marissa worked as a Linguistic Annotation Analyst at DefinedCrowd Corp., gaining valuable experience in AI-training data. Marissa has also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Cornell Linguistics Department and the Cornell Brain and Language Lab, focusing on the intersection of linguistics and cognitive processes. Additionally, Marissa held a role as a UX Researcher/Project Manager at BSU Incorporated and gained customer service experience as a Dining Room Server at Taverna Banfi. Marissa earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics with a minor in Information Science from Cornell University, having previously attended Lafayette College.
