Gianluca De Santis

Gianluca De Santis is a Simulation Expert at Materialise, specializing in the R&D of cardiovascular devices, including FEA, CFD, and parametric design. Previously, they served as an R&D Manager and FEA Services Manager at FEops, where they managed engineering consultancy services for medical device companies and developed TAVIguide technology. Gianluca holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Ghent University and has received multiple degrees in the field, including an MSc from Trinity College, Dublin, and a BSc & MSc from Politecnico di Milano, achieving summa cum laude. Additionally, they are pursuing studies in Data Visualisation at Ghent University.
