Lien De Beck has extensive experience in biomedical research and patient safety. At Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Lien served as a Researcher and PhD fellow focusing on immune-modulating therapies in melanoma and multiple myeloma, mastering advanced laboratory techniques and leading in vivo experiments. Lien also completed a Research Internship in immune oncology that contributed to a published peer-reviewed article. After transitioning to Roche as a Patient Safety Partner, Lien currently holds the position of Intellectual Property Liaison for medical applications at Materialise. Lien's academic background includes a PhD in Medical Sciences and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, both obtained with high honors from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
