Michele Pavan

Michele Pavan is an experienced Research and Development Engineering Manager at Materialise since January 2014, specializing in additive manufacturing (AM) process engineering and software applications. As a Software Product Owner, Michele manages multiple development squads focused on creating custom Build Processors for laser-based technologies and an SDK for integrating Materialise technology. Previous roles include Software Functional Analyst and Research Engineer, working on projects to enhance part quality and material processability. Prior to Materialise, Michele contributed to the European project AllOxidePV at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, researched building products at Fassa Bortolo S.p.A., and served as a Junior Safety Consultant at NECSI srl. Michele holds a PhD in Engineering Technology from KU Leuven and multiple degrees in Materials Engineering from renowned institutions.
