Dr. Marcus Arlt

Dr. Marcus Arlt serves as TeamLead IT Operations Security at Materna Information & Communications SE since May 2023. Previously, Dr. Arlt held the position of TeamLead IT & Security Monitoring and Operations Support at Berenberg from August 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included the architecture and implementation of SIEM, SOC, and vulnerability management. As a Product Owner for IT & Security Monitoring, Dr. Arlt focused on creating a robust monitoring vision and establishing a data platform for IT service intelligence. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Allolio&Konrad Consulting GmbH, leading telecommunications projects, and significant academic contributions as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow and researcher at RWTH Aachen University and DWI - Leibniz-Institut für Interaktive Materialien, culminating in a doctorate in Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology from RWTH Aachen University.
