Master Teacher at Math for America

Leton Hall is an experienced educator currently serving as a Master Teacher at Math for America since September 2019 and a Science Teacher at the NYC Department of Education since September 2012. In the role of Science Teacher, Leton Hall teaches 6th grade students, implementing hands-on labs bi-weekly and integrating community interests into the curriculum. Leton Hall also mentors men of color entering the teaching profession as an NYC Men Teach Mentor. Previously, Leton Hall taught science to 7th grade students while promoting awareness of global issues and creating sensible solutions.
