John Schmitt

John Schmitt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 1983, they held various roles at EDS, including Account Manager and Technical Consultant. From 1996 to 2006, they served as the Vice President of Development at Infinity Systems Consulting, where they grew the business and managed software development projects for the P&C insurance market. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Ebix as the General Manager of Development and later as the Vice President of Technology for P&C and EbixExchange, overseeing development teams and managing large-scale projects. Since 2011, they have been with Mathematica Policy Research, where they have held the positions of Project Director, Associate Director of Data Management and Analytics, Director of Analytic Systems and Technology, and currently, Director of Health Program Improvement and Analytics. In these roles, they have been involved in solution design, data analytics, data management, and business development in the healthcare and human services sectors.

John Schmitt holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Predictive Analytics (MSPA) from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management from Villanova University between 1979 and 1983. John also completed their high school education at Bethlehem Central High School. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2018.
