John Sullivan

Director, Pricing at Mathematica

John Sullivan has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. John started as an Accountant at the New York City Police Department in 1989, where they performed various financial tasks and supervised payroll transactions. John then worked as a City Planner at the New York City Department of Transportation, where they prepared reimbursement vouchers and budgets for federally funded projects. In 1997, they joined Mathematica Policy Research and started as a Project Manager, responsible for planning and preparing budgets and business proposals. Over the years, they progressed to higher roles, such as Manager of Project Support and Director of Proposal and Project Support, where they led teams and oversaw budgeting, pricing, and project management functions. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Pricing at Mathematica, overseeing corporate proposal budgeting and pricing functions.

John Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Francis College in 1988. John then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in 1997. In addition to their formal education, John has also obtained several certifications, including Data-Analysis Fundamentals with Excel, The Basics of Data for Analytics, Wayne Winston on Analytics, Agile Project Management with Microsoft Project, and Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories.
