Rumin Sarwar is a seasoned health policy researcher with comprehensive experience in program evaluation and health initiatives. From 2011 to 2013, Rumin served as a Program Evaluator and Health and Wellness Program Coordinator at Student U, where they designed health assessments and managed community partnerships. Rumin later held roles as a Policy Research Intern at the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease and a Research Assistant at the Carolina Population Center. Between 2019 and 2021, they worked at Mathematica Policy Research as a Health Policy Researcher and Analyst, focusing on health care transformation models. Currently, Rumin is a Senior Researcher and Supervisor at Mathematica, where they lead mixed methods research projects and mentor staff in alignment with organizational goals. Rumin holds a Master of Science in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy Analysis from The Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.
