Mathen is a climate-tech venture focused exclusively on high-integrity carbon removal.

We’re building a new model that helps organisations address emissions linked to their power consumption by connecting them directly to verified, high-quality carbon removal projects.

Unlike traditional brokers, we are not an intermediary. Credits sourced through Mathen are retired by us, ensuring full traceability and accountability. Our portfolio-based model brings together high-quality removals across pathways such as DACCS, biochar, afforestation and reforestation, and blue carbon to deliver a reliable, diversified solution.

Mathen is designed to move organisations beyond the checkbox “net-zero” claims and toward genuine, net-positive climate impact. We aim to deliver carbon removals in near real time, shifting away from annual offsetting cycles and toward continuous, measurable climate benefit.

Beyond carbon, we prioritise projects that generate meaningful co-benefits for nature, biodiversity, and local communities. Integrity, transparency, and real-world outcomes sit at the core of everything we do.

Our goal is simple - raise the bar for carbon removal and turn climate ambition into lasting impact.
