Ciara Doris

Ciara Doris is a Technology & Innovation Associate and Corporate M&A Solicitor at Matheson LLP since October 2021. From August 2024 to February 2025, Ciara served as Legal Counsel on secondment with Meta, functioning as Product Privacy Counsel on the EU Data Protection Team. Prior experience includes roles as a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor and Trainee Solicitor at LK Shields Solicitors LLP from January 2018 to September 2021, with seats in Intellectual Property, Technology and Privacy, as well as Corporate and Commercial departments. Ciara began a career in law as a Legal Analyst at Brightflag in 2017 and gained early exposure through an internship at Shepherd and Wedderburn and a mini-pupil position at Hogarth Chambers in 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from The University of Edinburgh, a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin, and an Erasmus degree in law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, complemented by the Professional Practice Course from the Law Society of Ireland.
